Two Indian players Sakshi Malik and P V Sandhu have won bronze medals for India at Rio Olympics in wresling and badminton respectively :):)

We are proud of these players. It was really touching to see on TV Sakshi’s mother dancing before TV after watching her daughter achieve this feat.

Some people in tv debates and newpaper/wattsapp posts have mentioned that men should hang their heads in shame as girls have done what they could not. I think this is an avoidable remark. We all irrespective of gender are proud of these two girls :):).

  1. Patriotism doesn’t depend on gender, nor does achievement. All our players need is better infrastructure and guidance. It has been proved this time that we are nearly as good as world rank holders. We have the ability. It just needs direction and refining.
